About our Custom-Made Frames

• Made from the finest quality materials available. Every frame is custom made to your exact specifications, with every attention to detail, by our skilled craftspeople.
  
   

• Custom-made frames are shipped assembled up to 50" (e.g. 22" x 28" = 50") and come with hanging hardware included: retainer clips, screw eyes and wire. If a frame size exceeds 50", it will be shipped as a sectional with 4 miter clips and a glue pack for quick and easy assembly.

• One of the few places that the ancient art of gilding (covering a surface with a precious metal) is still alive is in the framing industry. The centuries old practice is performed much the same as it always was by artisans employed by molding manufacturers and by the artisans at Frame Craft.
  
  
   

• Because of the time consuming process we frequently use the available moldings, but often times produce our own gilded finishes to achieve the unique finish that is required for the piece we're working on.
  Many shops offer the same available products but few employ the extra skill and effort to make the finished work truly custom.
  

• 
  Proper framing is more than materials and techniques. Knowledge of frame styles and periods is essential to the finished product and how it fits into its environment
  
   

Art periods and architectural styles are also key to providing the correct "whole" package. Occasionally frame styles and art periods can intermingle, but ultimately it is the picture framers job to know the differences and how to apply them.
